Our Pastor

-Prophet Curtis Spears Sr., a native of Houston, TX, was born to the late Joel Lee Spears and Betty Lou Spears. He is one of six children. It is with intentionality that Curtis Spears lives his life and it is evident to those closest to him and those who come in contact with him.

Curtis Spears obtained his primary and secondary education within the public schools of Houston, Texas. In 2004, after going back to school to earn his high school Diploma, he also entered Calvary Theological Seminary and obtained his Associate Degree in Theology.

After accepting the Lord Jesus Christ in 1990, he later accepted the call to ministry. In 2004, Prophet Curtis Spears, received his Ministerial License from Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. under the Presiding Bishop Norman L. Wagner. He served faithfully at Emmanuel Deliverance Temple of Refuge under the leadership of Bishop Bobby D. Butler Sr. He served in various offices within the local church. He was a deacon, Youth President, Adult Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent and as an Elder. He also served on the Executive Board, a distinguished honor for which he is humbly grateful. He was known as the Pastor’s right hand man.

Prophet Curtis Spears served under Apostle Dana Carson at Reflections of Christ Kingdom World Outreach International. He also served in various offices. He was a Staff Pastor, Baptism Coordinator, Partners Care Pastor, Men’s Ministry and Kingdom Kids Teacher. In 2014, he earned his Kingdom Degree of Theological and Ministerial Studies from The Kingdom School of Ministry. He was a part of the KSM Five Fold School of Ministry Program.

Prophet Spears is devoted and loving husband for 31 years, to the love of his life, Susie Spears, who he passionately refers to as “Honey.” She serves faithfully in ministry with him. They have been blessed with four talented children Shekita Tauna, Curtis Ray Jr., Joimecia Rena and Jaiden Joshua. They also have 5 grand-children; Kaden, Kylee, Cameron, Carter and Kinsley. They welcomed a son-in-law Kyron and daughter-in-law Leanna.
